Our Source of Strength in this Life
What great truth is it that God cannot work with a man who doesn’t have a weakness, a thorn in the flesh? When He appointed Moses as leader of the Israelites, “Moses pleaded with the LORD, ‘O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.’” (Ex. 4:10, NLT) The New Testament also recorded Christ’s core group in His earthly ministry comprising fishermen and the ignorant Galileans or the “uneducated and untrained men,” as noted in Acts 4:13.
